We are excited to announce that the 4th cycle of the DigCompHub Project course will start on 10th February 2025 on the All Digital Academy Platform.
This course offers a practical introduction to the European Digital Competence Framework for Citizens (DigComp) and provides participants with the tools and methodologies to effectively implement it in adult education.
Course Overview
The course is designed to empower adult education educators and education providers to:

- Understand DigComp: Explore the framework’s history, five dimensions, and key applications.

- Identify digital skilling needs: Learn how to assess adult learners’ initial levels of digital competences and prioritize their training needs.

- Design effective training: Develop impactful education and training programs aligned with DigComp.

- Assess and certify competences: Discover strategies for recognizing learning achievements and supporting digital inclusion.
Additional mentoring sessions
In addition to the short course, mentoring activities will be offered after the training to guide participants in implementing the DigComp Framework in their educational practices. This hands-on support will help ensure that the knowledge gained during the course translates into real-world impact.
Course Structure
The course consists of six modules, with an estimated total study time of 14–16 hours:

- Module 1: Understanding DigComp – History, evolution, and the five dimensions of the framework

- Module 2: Applications and benefits of DigComp

- Module 3: Using DigComp to identify digital competence needs and assess initial levels of competences

- Module 4: Designing and developing training activities for adult learners based on DigComp

- Module 5: Delivering effective learning activities to develop digital competences

- Module 6: Assessing learning achievements and supporting competence recognition and certification
